THE ROLE:

Peloton is currently seeking an IT Project Manager, Finance Systems with experience in business process transformation and leading high-performing teams. The role will focus primarily on projects in the realm of ERP systems and integration of ERP with other financial/non financial systems to help improve end to end data flow and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have a combination of experience managing complex global projects along with multiple other integrated systems. This person will work closely with company leaders in the Finance, Shared Services, and Technology organizations on strategic system initiatives to elicit requirements, create and execute on project plans, assess system changes and cross-functional impact/risk, run comprehensive testing and deliver impactful change management across all platforms. They will balance multiple projects at once and drive high-velocity change, and know when to escalate risks and issues. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, motivated, resourceful and collaborative.

This individual will manage project work and budget, acting on variances from the plan as well as bringing the projects to closure (including decommissioning of legacy systems), documenting project execution by creating a body of knowledge, and suggesting process improvements for future projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for ensuring that business and IT requirements are captured and documented with scope clearly defined for phase rollouts as needed
  • Perform management of the risks of the project, including the development of contingency plans and risk mitigation strategy
  • Liaise with any vendors or suppliers in relation to the projects where needed
  • Facilitate regular project and status update meetings
  • Ensure project objectives are understood and met, ensuring that the Project Team members understand the requirements
  • Track and report project actual expenditures as compared to the budget and effectively manage the project to successful completion within tolerances
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Identify opportunities for business transformation to increase revenue, decrease cost and improve operating efficiency and scalability; cost vs. ROI
  • Consult with business sponsors to create project justifications and prioritize the existing portfolio according to business drivers
  • Scope, plan, implement and support various projects through complete software development life cycle across finance processes
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans for complex projects with strong change control
  • Develop detailed system requirements, test plans and training materials
  • Lead all testing efforts and drive the remediation of defects encountered
  • Ensure comprehensive change management including change communications, user training and ongoing education
  • Manage project vendors and consultants, as necessary, to ensure streamlined communication, delineation of responsibility and adequate business & technical support

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of Project/Product Management, Product Owner, Business Analyst, and/or Process Engineering role working with Finance ERP systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Strong track record of project delivery and benefits realization
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and problem solving skills
  • Excellent presentation and meeting facilitation skills
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter / self-motivated, capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions without supervision
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in SDLC Agile methodology, running Sprint ceremonies and using PM tools to capture Epics, user stories, test documentation, sign-offs, etc. Skilled in developing effective partnership relationships with portfolio stakeholders
  • Experience in the identification, assessment, and management of risks; able to manage the risks, not just the risk list
  • Experience in strategic planning and analysis
  • Determined to deliver outcomes and able to overcome obstacles in order to move forward. Accountable for the delivery of outcomes, strives to meet and exceed expectations
  • Has a flexible approach to change, is able to work effectively in a variety of situations, constantly seeks improvements and is forward looking
  • JIRA, Confluence and Smartsheets is preferred
  • Experience in Netsuite or other ERP applications is a plus
  • Experience with implementation of other financial systems like Conur, Coupa, Kyriba, Blackline and integration with an ERP application is a big plus

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) or equivalent experience
  • 4 years contextual technical infrastructure project experience including corporate and branch network infrastructure, telephony, endpoint device management, information security, and call center operations
  • Experience in defining, implementing and coaching others in technical Project Management methodologies and tactics
