We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist that will help empower our learners around the world by building and supporting a scalable, reliable, and secure IT infrastructure for our team.
We’re a hybrid of remote and NYC office based employees using the best in class products and vendors for our IT infrastructure, which you will help build. You will need to execute on project goals by being a technical resource to the company as well as defining our long term IT strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set the strategy and vision for IT
- Improve the scalability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure
- Spearhead technical onboarding of new employees and offboarding of terminated employees
- Collaborate with various teams to improve business- critical processes and stay ahead of daily needs
- Participate in planning and implementation of technical projects focused on company-wide process improvements and automation
- Manage all IT and computer systems including desktop equipment
- Own everything related to technology in the office from application support to Zoom rooms
- Provide best in class technical service support to a mix of remote and in-office employees
- Manage our IT vendors and the services they provide
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 4-7 minimum years of IT experience
- Experience managing Google Workspace directory
- Previous experience supporting technical and non-technical teams
- Strong experience troubleshooting and resolving issues with both Windows and MacOS
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Good project management skills
- Working with and managing IT vendors and their services
- Located in NYC/Willing to commute to the office a couple of days per week OR willing to relocate to NYC
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT
- Experience with G Suite
- Experience with One Login or other SAML based IDPs
- Proficiency in maintaining an enterprise network utilizing Meraki
- You've played an integral part in SaaS management and automation
- Previous experience automating common IT tasks
- Experience with creating technical training materials
- Experience utilizing Codecademy’s Platform
