Our mission is to radically improve the health of urban communities, one block at a time. Importantly, our solutions are designed specifically for Medicaid and lower-income Medicare beneficiaries, and we bring the capability to deliver care in the home and neighborhood with our field-based teams.

In close collaboration with community based organizations and a leading commercial partner, we are reorganizing the health system to focus on what matters to our members. We deliver personalized primary care, behavioral health, and social services through a network of neighborhood hubs with deep community-based partnerships and world-class technology.

We partner with payers and at-risk providers, taking capitated financial risk to care for their most vulnerable, high and rising risk members. Additionally, we invest in strategic partnerships with community-based and social services organizations, in some instances bringing them into the value equation through sub-capitation and performance-based compensation.

Over the next year we’ll grow quickly, including entering new markets, each with their own commercial relationships and field-based teams. This role will be a key contributor to the success of our business.

The role:

Cityblock is seeking an experienced IT Support Lead for our growing New York City office. You will play a critical role both for our users based in New York, but also in helping to support our team nationally. Based in our DUMBO New York City office, you will also help to act as a liaison for our NC and CT based teams

You are someone who asks questions, is confident in not knowing everything, and would rather collaborate with others than go it alone. You are crisp and detail oriented, but able to work outside of the boundaries when necessary. On top of your proven history of success, you have a passion for technology and, like us, you value hard work and fun in equal measure.

You will:

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems with Apple products, including desktop and laptop hardware
  • Build and deploy new laptops using standard deployment tools 
  • Assist with AV setup for internal meetings and events using local AV systems including: Meet, projectors, zoom, and event presentation spaces.
  • Manage the IT on-boarding experience and IT welcome sessions
  • Manage system access for Cityblock employees 
  • Deploy and support software to end-users
  • Respond to support requests in the IT Helpdesk both in person and via a ticketing system
  • Managing inventory for hardware and software
  • Lead team of IT support specialist nationally

You’d be a good fit if:

  • 3-5 + years of experience in IT support roles that include
  • Basic AV and networking skills, including an understanding of video conferencing, servers, switches, WiFi, etc.
  • Proficient with Google, JAMF, Okta, BetterCloud, Slack, iOS, Android 
  • Experience using and managing ticket-based enterprise workflow management systems, particularly, Jira or similar
  • Strong OS X and Mac hardware troubleshooting experience
  • A positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ pounds) as needed

  • Experience with leading training / on-boarding sessions
