Motivate is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. As part of the IT team, you will ensure quality support and assistance of all desktop, laptop and peripheral IT equipment. You will respond to support requests entered into our IT Service Desk system and ensure those tickets are resolved in an acceptable time frame, our environment is mostly cloud based, you will be responsible for administering accounts such as Google Apps for work, Box, and other software applications including mobile device management ( airwatch ).

About the Role:

  • Main point of contact for help desk escalations through ticketing system
  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Administration of 3rd party software applications
  • Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems
  • Create accounts and configure hardware as part of on-boarding process
  • Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms
  • Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
  • Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed

About You:

  • You have experience working in a Mac environment along with the following technologies and systems
    • Windows 7, 10, Mac OS X, Google Apps, and MS Office
    • Mac and PC hardware, Printers, scanners, computer peripherals
    • Airwatch MDM
    • Mobile devices (iOS, Android)
    • Client PC connectivity - ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN
  • You have an even demeanor and understand how to give amazing customer service and troubleshooting skills
  • You enthusiastically collaborate with teams across the company and thrive in an atmosphere of constant change
  • You have the ability to effectively communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
  • You are extremely detail oriented and put a strong focus on password and network security
