IT Support Technician

We are a rapidly growing technology startup, and we are looking for a driven IT Support Technician to join the IT team. You will join the Head of IT as the second member of the team as we grow the company to over 100 people and to new offices. This is a hands on role where your impact will be felt on a daily basis across the organization.

You will:

  • Provide awesome technical support for all employees at Bread
  • Work through complex end user problems to find solutions
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and user lifecycle management
  • Create documentation and assist with user training
  • Configure and deploy laptops, workstations, A/V and other hardware
  • Work cross-functionally with other ops staff to assist in day to day office operations

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years in a end user facing technical support role
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to triage multiple issues and prioritize your workload
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of Mac OSX (we are an all Mac shop)
  • Computer hardware troubleshooting and A/V support
  • Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, Wi-Fi, Switching, etc.)
  • Understanding the importance of information security
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Google’s G-suite platform including Google apps
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Working knowledge of MDM, specifically JAMF
  • Previous use of a ticketing system to track and log helpdesk activities
  • Previous use of linked SaaS applications and identity management (SSO)
  • Previous work in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, public companies) a plus
