Job Description

Butterfly Network is seeking a Lead Enterprise Support Engineer to join the Medical Informatics team. Reporting to the Director of Medical Informatics, your core responsibilities will be to deliver expert post-live support of Butterfly iQ and Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) workflow features at healthcare systems around the world. 

  • Confidently lead the Tier II team of Enterprise Support Engineers
  • Work closely with Butterfly internal teams to identify future needs while continually providing timely, expert support to Enterprise customers
  • Work side by side with implementation teams to ensure a seamless transition of support during Enterprise go-lives
  • Maintains the Tier II team on-call rotation schedule
  • Escalates, owns, and remains focused in driving the resolution of issues through the appropriate channels and team members, using highly effective communication skills
  • Track SLA metrics to ensure support tickets are resolved within established timeframes
  • Collaborate directly with Customer Service (Tier I) and Engineering (Tier III) on the escalation paths for various scenarios pertaining to customer connectivity and data flow
  • Develop and document scalable and repeatable support workflows
  • Assist in training and implementing these new processes internally across teams
  • Drive regular communication with clients, vendors, and internal team members regarding support  issues, and risks

Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading a technical team in healthcare IT, including managing medical information systems such as: RIS, PACS, HIS or EMR solutions
    • Expert knowledge of interoperability between medical devices and software applications in healthcare IT
    • Strong understanding of clinical workflow in a medical imaging environment
  • Familiarity with DICOM, HL7, PACS, VNA, RIS, EMR, and Medical Imaging Devices
  • Ability to work cohesively and effectively in a team environment with employees from all levels within an organization required.
  • Able to classify problems as system, training, or process and recommend appropriate corrections.
  • Understanding of networking topologies and standards.
