The Leadership Development Sr. Specialist will deliver manager foundational courses, design interactive core leadership programs, and occasionally provide individual or group coaching to people managers and leaders. The ideal candidate for this role will have a blend of experience and education in designing and facilitating high-impact learning programs - either in house or as a consultant - and a passion for inclusive leadership and people management practices.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Support the design and lead the facilitation of our internal leadership development programming 
  • Identify learning needs for managers and teams outside of core leadership development programs and propose appropriate learning solutions using a variety of instructional formats (e-learning courses, personalized learning, videos, workshops, etc.)
  • Define success metrics, measure results, and report back to Program Lead on impact of learning experiences to continually increase effectiveness
  • Support the follow-up of learning experiences through just-in-time supports including job aids, interactive reminders, coaching, and continued education experiences
  • Manage behind-the-scenes logistics of leadership programs including enrollment and learner communications to create a seamless development experience for participants
  • Partner effectively with internal teams and external vendors as needed to deliver leadership and coaching programs.
  • Leveraging technology to drive automation, personalization, and evaluation of programs - including Learning Management Systems, eLearning authoring software, and content tools. (We primarily use Workday Learning and Articulate Rise)

About You: 

  • You have 5+ years of professional experience - ideally in a high-growth organization - and have managed the performance and development of individuals and/or a team. 
  • You have exceptional live/virtual facilitation skills with at least 3 years of facilitating leadership development programs and coaching individuals and/or people leaders. 
  • You stay knowledgeable about adult learning, management and leadership development, facilitation, presentation, coaching, and assessment tools.
  • You build strong cross-functional partnerships and trust with stakeholders through communication, reliability, and listening before offering helpful suggestions. 
  • You are able to facilitate multiple programs and coach several leaders. 
  • You believe that learning should be time well spent and its impact can be measured.
