Manager, Acquisitions
The Manager of Real Estate Acquisitions will play a critical role in launching Knotel’s property acquisition program. As a part of the broader Real Estate and Business Development Team s/he will be responsible for helping to define the acquisitions program in addition to underwriting and executing transactions. Our team embraces curiosity, integrity, and tenacious problem-solving, and the Manager, Real Estate Acquisitions will contribute to this culture while pushing us to innovate and do our best work.
What You’ll Do
- Help develop and refine Knotel’s acquisitions strategy
- Source acquisition targets that are consistent with that strategy, working with strategic partners, brokers and market research
- Work with potential strategic and JV partners to analyse and underwrite opportunities, as well as to structure those relationships
- Work closely with other Knotel teams to determine the suitability of potential targets for the Knotel program
- Underwrite acquisition opportunities including detailed financial modeling
- Liaise with colleagues on the Operations, Growth, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure success at closing and beyond

You also have the following:
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions
- Experience underwriting commercial office buildings
- A strong quantitative background, coupled with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Docs, and other technology solutions for streamlining business processes
- Knowledge of New York City property market trends, submarkets and property types
