Primary Purpose: This role will report to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain and Finance Solutions and will work primarily with the Business and IT organizations to deliver continuous improvement initiatives. The Manager, Business Solutions, SAP Finance Systems will play a key role in connecting IT to the Business, identifying optimal technology solutions, and managing projects from planning to delivery in North America, Asia and Europe.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Finance Systems and Project Management to:
- Lead mission-critical program and project initiatives in areas of Finance Systems and Integrations
- Operate as a subject matter expert for SAP S4 FICO and other Finance Systems in the portfolio, be a point of contact for integration with upstream and downstream processes such as MM, SD and WM
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into systems solutions
- Develop functional and technical designs, configurations, guide developers, conduct system testing and coordinate user testing/training
- Operationalize solution through hyper-care and transition to support teams
- Actively seek out and drive continuous improvement opportunities across business processes and system solutions
- Manage projects including resource allocations, financials/budgets, work plans, issue & risk management and status reporting
- Ensure adherence to global design, technical architecture, standards, audit and change management.
The accomplished individual will possess:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, and 8+ years of experience in SAP FICO as a project manager or functional expert
- Ability to drive process and system transformation to deliver end-to-end Finance solutions
- Experience operating in a global SAP environment including collaboration with international teams and offshore models is preferred
- In depth knowledge of end-to-end RTR business processes including areas such as General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Integrations, Fixed Assets, Foreign Exchange Revaluation, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Travel & Expenses, Treasury, Reporting, and Data Integration
- Experience integrating SAP with external Tax, Travel, Purchasing and Treasury systems such as Vertex, Concur, Ariba, and Kyriba
