The Role:

The Digital Consumer Strategy team is seeking a Manager level Web Developer to help design, build, optimize and maintain a consumer focused web experience to drive conversion. We are looking for someone who loves the customer and drives their code to provide the best experience for the consumer.  This person reports directly to the Vice President of Digital Consumer Strategy. You will be responsible for building and elegant super fast mobile-first experience using clean code principles.

• Drive a consumer-centric mindset allowing us to build for the customer and their needs
• Lead consumer funnel technology discussions to map the exact strategies and techniques necessary to win 
• Lead discussions on testing to ensure we are optimizing our experiences
• Enable the organizations ability to think differently by understanding and communicating consumer behavior on the web
• Build engaging experiences that drive conversion
• Have the ability to lead a team in driving state of the art digital experiences
• Excellent communication with stakeholders to make sure projects are delivered on time 
• Have excellent problem solving skills   
• Have a mobile-first mentality 
• Have an acute attention to detail 
• Being proactive and introducing new and creative ideas to help the customer 
• Influence and lead architectural decisions

What You Bring to The Team:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university 
• 5+ years of hands-on eCommerce development experience in B2C or B2B
• 5+ years PHP experience
• 5+ years Javascript experience
• Expert in HTML/CSS and SASS
• Experience in A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, Monetate, etc.)
• Experience in Content Management Systems (Contentful, SiteCore, etc.)
• Expert in responsive design techniques/principles
• Strong experience building forms
• Good exposure to front end technologies like React/Vue and/or other frameworks.
• Experience with custom Javascript in Google Tag Manager is a plus
• Follows “clean code” principles and adds comments to code
• Exposure to technical SEO and Schema code implementation
• Follows coding techniques with a goal to create fast loading pages/sites.
• Ability to lead others in crafting the best solution to the complex problems we face
• Comfortable using Google’s Page Insights tool to address and fix technical issues.
• Exposure to UX principles is a plus
