OUR TEAM 

The Operations Team at Kinship works to bring to market the most innovative products for millennial pet parents.  We’re supply chain pros, manufacturing experts, and hardware guru’s driving a complex global supply chain to deliver truly innovative pet products that benefit consumers and their pets. We’re an experienced team backed by a global leader and focused on the future of pet care. HOW YOU’LL HELP EVERYONE PET PARENT LIKE A PRO
This critical position will be housed in the Operations function and is the ultimate functional owner of ERP system(s), managing the system upon which all our financial processes and many of our logistical processes are dependent upon. This includes oversight of roadmap, partner management, staffing, architecture, implementation, etc . The position requires full responsibility of the internal system’s ability/design to support the growth and scale of the business. As the key strategic technical partner for the business, this position will drive multi-year technology roadmaps, with an emphasis on applications to support business goals.

  • A subject matter expert in ERP systems; how to set them up, maintain them, and use them to support business operations.  Strong background with one or more of SAP ByDesign, Netsuite, and Navision Cloud highly preferred.
  • Project management with oversight and coordination of ERP related initiatives / activities. Many of these will be executed by 3rd party partners and/or may require integrations with eCommerce and 3PL platforms.
  • Operations support working hand-in-hand with Operations and other teams on a regular basis to troubleshoot issues as they arise that may impact our ability to support Kinship’s customers.
  • Develop detailed test cases, manage and coordinate user acceptance testing with all departments, and manage and coordinate support tasks with third party vendors.
  • Report management, scheduling, maintenance
  • Assisting/guiding business users with day-to-day process improvements, metrics reporting, simple solutions to complex policies.
  • Drive operations system and process improvements, documenting proposed changes, testing solutions, and partner with the business for ongoing and to-be-defined improvement projects.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ yrs of relevant experience 5+ years’ experience with ERP administration, configuration, and development in complex business environments or equivalent practical experience.
  • Background in business process analysis, system requirements, as well as data modeling and detailed functional design.
  • Understanding of any integration platforms like Boomi, Mulesoft etc. is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of business applications, with a focus on hosted SaaS solutions, middleware implementations, eCommerce systems, and revenue/billing/inventory systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with teams to identify and analyze process improvement opportunities and define resulting technology solutions. Expert understanding of systems analysis, including root cause analysis, and other process modeling and systems design methodologies
  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams with strong influence and negotiation skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks while working with aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
