Manager of Executive Communities

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a company that wants to transform U.S. healthcare. As Cedar’s Manager of Executive Communities, you will report to the Director of Experiential Marketing and work closely with the President and Chief Marketing Officer to oversee all the aspects of Cedar’s Advisor Board, CEO Council, and Patient Financial Innovation Council. The role will also help define, develop, and execute all new community related initiatives and work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
This role will play an external-facing role, serving as primary point of contact for Cedar’s Advisor Board and CEO Council and requires an individual with strong communication skills and customer service orientation, executive presence, high EQ, and grace under pressure. This is a fast paced and collaborative role that requires someone with a natural ability to build strong, trusting partnerships across the organization and drive progress on key initiatives, event activations, sponsorships and cross-functional projects. This role requires a highly resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-moving, complex environment requiring self-motivation and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-changing industry.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage a robust community engagement and content strategy, ensuring accuracy and relevancy.
- Own relationship management and communications with advisor board members and their support staff to help further strategic business goals, deepen and expand relationships, and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
- Develop sound strategies and operational plans to leverage Advisor & CEO communities to be most impactful to the company and business goals
- Manage advisor board meeting logistics and execution, ensuring unique, memorable and impactful experiences for our community members
- Partner with experiential and event teams to manage content and programming efforts for all in-person and virtual community activations
- Moderate, engage and listen regularly within community forums, triaging discussion internally as well as promoting and securing leadership engagement
- Provide community members with any support and resources they need, activating the community around shared goals and objectives
- Help develop, build and manage the day-to-day operations of a digital first community platform
- Develop and implement internal and external community advocate programs designed to enhance and incentivize engagement among community members
- Meet regularly with internal stakeholders to share community insights, updates and guidance on ways to engage with the community
Skills & Responsibilities
- 4-7+ years of related community management or board affairs experience building, managing and scaling communities
- Excellent project management and communications skills - both written and verbal.
- High levels of emotional intelligence and empathy, understanding how to listen and respond to community feedback
- Comfort and experience dealing directly with high-level healthcare executives and other VIPs
- Demonstrated affinity for diplomacy and the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships at all levels
- Strong analytical skills and ability; outstanding project management, execution, and business acumen
- Passion about Cedar’s mission, vision and values
