Who You Are
Are you someone who is passionate about continuous improvement and enabling others to learn and grow?
Justworks is seeking an experienced Manager/Leader to build and lead the Justworks engineering organizational excellence function. In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and People/Talent partners to ensure we create and maintain the optimal learning and engagement experience for our employees. You will also work closely with program management to ensure a robust continuous education program is built that is engaging and that contributes to the maturation of individuals and teams through our agile transformation.
As a Manager, Organizational Excellence, you will be responsible for defining, implementing and leading engineering organizational best practices, including reporting and metrics. This is an opportunity to build this exciting function from the ground up and drive its direction and pace.
Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On
- Create an organizational excellence program that focuses on the following employee experiences: onboarding, continuous learning, talent development & retention, and engagement through internal and external events.
- Create scalable frameworks and standards for knowledge aggregation and sharing across ProdEng and with the broader Justworks organization
- Implement feedback mechanisms and create action plans to drive change and adoption through communications, digital learning, and internal/external events.
- Foster Justworks culture of inclusion across our Product and Engineering teams throughout the employee lifecycle through internal engagements such as our apprenticeship/internship programs, onboarding, hackdays, bootcamps, and more.
- Build and maintain external relationships to increase awareness of Justworks Engineering brand and attract talent through partnerships with colleges/universities , seminars, training, and Justworks engineering panel engagements.
- Partner agile coaching for the purpose of building engaging content for teams and individuals to learn about agile at Justworks.
- Build a team focused on scaling learning and engagement

Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in learning & engagement or learning & development environment
- Familiarity with developing and delivering knowledge management programs within growing and complex organizations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills which demonstrate the ability to effectively convey and explain information clearly, concisely, directly, and tactfully, including proven training and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, incorporating excellent analytical, organizational skills and flexibility, to prioritize work and deliver the maximum business value
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills with an ability to establish and maintain effective working and collaborative relationships with researchers, management, and colleagues
- The ability to work strategically and tactically to meet unique business needs and requirements
- Strong project management skills to deliver on time and to the requisite level of quality, while collaborating with key stakeholders as necessary
- Proven ability to quickly distill complex information and ways of operating into simple, engaging, and consumable context for multiple stakeholders
