Manager, Sponsorships
Over the past few years, SeatGeek has found an edge growing our brand in partnership with others. In particular, sponsorships have become a major part of our marketing portfolio, accelerating brand awareness and affinity among fans nationwide.
As a Manager, Sponsorships you will oversee SeatGeek’s arena partnerships, owning the execution and measuring the direct impact they have on near-term SG growth and long term brand preference, ultimately helping the Customer Marketing team achieve its aggressive growth goals.
What you’ll do
- Own end-to-end management of SeatGeek’s marquee arena sponsorships - making strategic asset decisions, getting sponsorship execution off the ground, optimizing spend commitments, and measuring success
- Execute ongoing partnership management, including partner relationships, budgeting, forecasting, YoY asset negotiations, and asset utilization & tracking
- Serve as an integral member of the Customer Marketing team at large, contributing to short-term customer growth opportunities and building a long-term brand that consumers love
- Collaborate with individuals of all levels on other teams and maintain strong internal relationships to complete cross-team projects successfully
- Partner together with the broader Sponsorships team on SeatGeek’s sponsorship strategy
What you have
- 5+ years work experience in sponsorship marketing, preferably for a sports & entertainment marketing agency, in-house at a company focused on sports marketing, or in a partnership solutions role
- Knowledge of major brand marketing channels
- Exceptional communication and relationship management: able to navigate internal cross-functional and external sponsor relationships
- Deep comfort with business tools, including deck preparation, metrics analysis, sponsorship contracts, and budgets
- Ability to conceptualize and execute analytical approaches to sponsorship measurement
- Proactive self-starter with ownership mentality
- Strong ability to triage to-do lists based on business impact
- Out-of-the-box thinking to grow brand awareness and affinity
- Metrics driven and goal-oriented mindset
- Natural leadership and quick-learning for continued ownership of responsibilities
