About the role.
We are looking for a highly self-motivated Manager, Strategic Partnerships to join Lively’s rapidly growing strategic partnerships team as we expand the Lively business beyond the DTC market. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can take the initiative and ensure that your portfolio of partners can get the attention and support they need to be successful. This is your opportunity to craft Lively’s health plan strategy from scratch and build an entirely new line of business within a startup that has great resources and is in hyper-growth. This position reports directly to our Health Plan Partnerships & Strategy Leader.
What you’ll do.
- Become a Lively expert, knowing the ins and outs of the product and services we offer
- Gain a deep understanding of partner goals, strategy, and areas of synergy to develop mutually beneficial strategies
- Establish strong relationships with key decision makers within partner organizations
- Own the day-to-day relationship with partners
- Identify and develop new business opportunities including management of partnership programs through inception, implementation and launch
- Develop and implement shared organizational processes – some unique to the partnership
- Work collaboratively with marketing, sales, and product on internal enablement to support partnerships
- Ensure partners realize significant value within 90 days of partnership launch
- Proactively engage partners and look for ways to further deepen relationships
- Understand the issues faced by partner organizations and their customers
- Bring passion and creativity with new ideas for ways to grow partnerships and add ongoing value
- Anticipate risks with partnerships and implement mitigation strategies to address them
- Grow partner lifetime value by identifying evolving needs of partners and driving them to exceed growth targets
- Onboard and train new partners
- Distill your partnerships knowledge and experience to internal stakeholders
- Build domain expertise and become a future leader at Lively, as partnerships scale
- Assist in developing overall health plan strategy for both in-network and out-of-network
- Provide insight into requirements needed to support and operationalize a partnerships with a health plan and related entities
- Create research matrix across regulatory landscape, payor landscape, and hearing aid specific issues
What you’ll bring.
- Degree or demonstrated skill in working in health care strategy, operations, or partnerships
- 5-7 years of business development, strategic partnerships, corporate strategy, or account management experience and record of demonstrated ‘same account’ growth
- Strong program building skill set with a focus on operationalizing at scale
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities along with effective presentation and facilitation skills
- Experience in a startup or small team environment
- Willingness to go above and beyond to expand Lively’s reach and impact
