Hi, we’re Lively. Are you?

We’re revolutionizing hearing care. We’re on a mission to empower tens of millions of people to hear better through affordable, convenient, hearing care — at a fraction of the cost thanks to telemedicine. We’re led by a crew of enormously skilled thinkers, creators, and doers. And we’re as collaborative and compassionate as we are ambitious. Built In NYC just named us one of the “best small companies to work for”. Come help us lose the “small”!

So, why Lively?

There’s a million companies you could take your talents to. What makes Lively a good match? We’re a series B start-up with an eager, empowered customer base that’s growing exponentially. And we’re young enough, and small enough, where you could make a big, tangible difference — a real impact. Where are we from?  We come to hearing care by way of Amazon, Facebook, 1stdibs, among other start-ups. And we’re surrounded by a world-class advisory board and audiology team.

About the role.

We are looking for a Manager, Strategic Partnerships | Strategic Channels to join Lively’s rapidly growing strategic partnerships team as we expand the Lively business beyond the DTC market.  You will share responsibility for building out an enterprise partnerships function, including setting up processes and tools to succeed in the B2B market, help define strategy for targeting various categories of partners, and potentially lead a future partnership category upon proof of concept. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced dynamic environment. This position reports to the Strategic Channels Leader.

What you’ll do.

  • Serve as lead on proposal development (including RFI/RFP responses,  contracting process, etc.) for strategic channel partnerships
  • Take a lead role in day-to-day relationships with prospective and existing strategic partners, (corporate employer benefits program/unions, senior living, retail health, etc) including onboarding
  • Develop and manage project plans from inception, implementation and launch of strategic partnerships serving as a cross-functional lead to ensure partnership plans are executed in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Work collaboratively with design, marketing, engineering and product on enablement in order to launch partnerships and address issues as they arise.
  • Work cross-functionally with design and marketing to build and continuously improve upon partnership enablement tools to support the team’s business development, RFP, and partner onboarding processes and support growth
  • Drive and disseminate ‘Voice of the Partner’ to ensure internal teams are well-informed about the team’s work, and use partner insights to help shape strategy and influence decisions across the Company
  • Facilitate an excellent partner experience by identifying opportunities and friction points, challenging the norms, and driving changes cross-functionally required to create ‘stickiness’ with strategic partners.
  • Contribute to team new business development efforts including business development, pipeline management, new category strategy, etc.
  • Coordinate logistics and represent Lively at conferences, trade shows, corporate employee benefit and senior living wellness events, retail launches, etc.
  • Build domain expertise and become a future leader at Lively, as partnerships scale

What you’ll bring.

  • 5+ years of partnership, account management, client services, customer success, or implementation experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to track and manage multiple work streams - experience with relevant tools (ie, Salesforce, Asana, Confluence, Jira, Trello)
  • Relevant industry knowledge particular to strategic channel strategy at Lively (corporate employee benefit programs, labor unions, senior living, etc.)
  • Ability to develop compelling and succinct decks in Powerpoint/Google slides for use with existing and future partners
  • Prior experience in Salesforce and project management tools
  • Experience in a startup or small team environment (i.e., experience building things from the ground up in often ambiguous environments)
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to expand Lively’s reach and impact
  • Team player

Why we love it here.

Changing lives and revolutionizing hearing care sounds like serious business. And it is. But we know how to have fun along the way. Case in point: our energizing weekly all-hands meetings where you’ll smile so much your smile muscles might get sore.

It helps that we have such a diverse crew — so you’ll fit right in. The Lively family includes actors, sommeliers, top-chefs, a former professional rollerblader (yep, that’s a thing), dancers, black belts, filmmakers and countless four-legged furry sidekicks.

Even our benefits are Lively.

  • You’re worth it. Our compensation is competitive, and our 401k plan includes a 4% match.
  • Take care of yourself and your loved ones. We offer excellent medical, vision, and dental insurance and contribute generously to it. Adding a new member to your family? We also provide 12-weeks paid parental leave.
  • Fill that well! Whether you check out America’s natural treasures or just veg out on your couch, enjoy your paid time off. We encourage time off.
  • Nomnom on us. Lively offers a weekly lunch stipend. (Pro tip: Groceries count.)
