HOW YOU’LL HELP EVERYONE PET PARENT LIKE A PRO

The Manager of Wholesale eCommerce is responsible for supporting B2B business operations and wholesale eCommerce initiatives excluding Amazon. Clients would include walmart.com, Petco, target.com, Chewy etc with the possibility of identifying emerging markets and channels. This role will be pivotal in the digital sales acceleration strategy across both the Wisdom Panel and Whistle brands. She/he will exude business acumen, agility and strategic thinking, leveraging internal and external sales and portal data to inform and drive day to day decisions on behalf of the Company. This position will report directly to the Head of Commerce and will be an important player in the overall growth strategy of Kinship. Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and strengthening relationships across key retail channels (including Chewy, Amazon support, Walmart, Petco, Target, etc.).
  • Develop of and execute healthy retail partnerships and programs, maximizing opportunities to drive incremental sales and deliveryear over year growth
  • Partner with marketing to ensure collaboration and cohesion around promotional events
  • Responsible for reporting of retail channel performance and collaborating with finance to manage rolling forecasts as well aspartner on demand planning
  • Support commercial growth planning activities for 2021
  • Gather, summarize, and report on industry, competition, retail, category, and partnership insights
  • Support B2B and shelter accounts. Approve POs.
  • Partner with operations to plan production, manage chargebacks, and maintain healthy stock positions with retail partners
  • Manage product set up, required content changes, and eMerchandising strategies
  • Oversee channel compliance and MAP policy execution

TECH QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of direct sales or category management
  • Prior experience in retail channel sales and analytics, preferably with a strong emphasis in eCommerce
  • Amazon channel experience is a strong preference
  • Experience with budgeting, costing, promotional campaign management and optimizing online marketing strategies at retail
  • A passion for pets!
  • Channel management for Chewy, Petco, Walmart, Target experience is a plus
  • 1-2 years of forecasting/demand planning experience
  • Pet product category experience
