As our Market Research Lead, you will be a key part of the larger Redesign Health product organization, developing original research to validate and hone new business ideas before we launch them. The ideal candidate is a creative, curious, collaborative individual who is excited to help us in our mission to improve healthcare.

You will report to and work with the Director of Research at our New York City headquarters.

What you'll do:

  • Design and execute innovative quantitative and qualitative research to support the objectives of Redesign Health and our portfolio companies
  • Work across all stages of the research cycle from early exploratory through optimization 
  • Develop strong synthesis at the end of every study that is actionable and insightful
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and build strong relationships while owning projects from start to finish
  • Communicate effectively to drive action and inspire new ideas

What you'll need:

  • Background: 
    • Strong background in foundational, generative, and evaluative research
    • The ability to flex between early ideation to companies launched in market 
    • Hungry to get in the weeds, find creative solutions and transform the healthcare industry
    • Ability to self manage and self organize across 3+ projects at a given time
    • Bachelor's degree
  • Technical Skills:
    • 3-7 years of user experience research or market research with significant innovation or new product development experience
    • Proven understanding of quantitative research, and track record of using data to support a point of view
    • Experience designing quantitative surveys, programming, analysis, creating the artifact, and communicating findings to stakeholders
    • Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process
    • Knowledge of qualitative, quantitative and user-centered research methods (e.g., interviewing, ethnography, surveys, co-design, concept-testing, etc.) is a plus
    • Pricing research, regression, correlation, and cluster analysis is a plus
