At Uber, we have set up a new Uber Advertising division to spearhead the growth of its advertising business. By building a dedicated advertising organization and a suite of advertising products, Uber Advertising will enable merchants and brands to reach and convert its highly engaged user base across its Mobility and Delivery platforms in 32 markets.
About the Role
The Global Measurement Operations Lead will manage the interpretation, analytics reporting, and analysis of Uber advertisers' key insights and performance recommendations. From strategy through campaign planning and execution, you will provide clarity to advertisers seeking key insights and measurement of impact. You will partner with, and lead a Measurement & Insights team, which helps to support the adoption and execution of measurement/analytics platforms. You will be responsible for driving strategic analysis of omni-channel campaigns for some of the largest advertisers in the world.
What You'll Do

  • Lead Measurement Operations team that delivers strategic campaign insights and reporting for Uber Advertisers across various ad products.
  • Lead the team responsible for managing the interpretation, analytics reporting, and analysis for key insights & performance recommendations with Uber advertisers
  • From strategy, planning, and campaign completion, you will deliver clarity to advertisers who are seeking causal insights and measurement impact
  • Supervise progress, efficiency, hold internal partners accountable for delivering results
  • Drive business review cadence and develop reporting frameworks to facilitate alignment, learning and improvement, and accountability
  • Lead client-facing analysis, including calls and in-person presentations, to advise Uber's top advertisers' on data-driven recommendations, and guidance.
  • Perform hands-on analysis, in-depth investigations, end-to-end measurement projects, and business recommendations
  • Build measurement/analytics tools and platforms that reflect the best and most appropriate solutions available
  • Design, pilot, scale, and optimize programs with sales, partnership management, operations, and marketing teams to increase Ads adoption, growth, and retention
  • Bring the voice of the customer and customer-facing representative feedback into the product organization to improve go-to-market strategies
  • Establish parameters and lead a detailed, open-ended process to plan, gain consensus for, and fund a prioritized project road map for growing and refining acquisition channels and partnering initiatives.
  • Partner with Ad Sales Leads to drive initiatives to enable sellers and advertisers to grow their investment in our Platform by using campaign insights
  • Collaborate and closely partner with Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, Marketing, Data Science to ensure goal attainment for our Advertisers

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years' experience in Advertising, Operations, Finance or Consulting
  • 3+ years'experience in management consulting, integrated marketing strategy & analytics or advertising measurement
  • Proven project management experience, with a high volume of reporting/analyzing requests.
  • Experience in the languages of data manipulation (e.g., SQL) and in visualization (Datastudio, Tableau, Datoram).
  • Experience in omnichannel marketing, attribution, and return on investment measurement, including performance and awareness of online advertising.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage projects, communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to speak to technical topics and metrics in an understandable manner.
  • High Proficiency in MS Excel and G Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics, mathematics, business administration, marketing).
  • 5+ years' experience in management consulting, media and marketing measurement, analytics, and reporting within an advertising agency/consulting.
  • Experience with online advertising, targeting and measurement systems and methodologies (ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, etc.).
  • Well-versed in advertising technology, including 3rd party ad-serving and tag management solutions and programmatic ad buying platform.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and drive for clarity of direction.
  • Experience with project management platforms like Jira.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate test design and implementation and statistical concepts.
  • Experience in developing and presenting strategic, action-oriented recommendations from complex analytics efficiently and engagingly to an executive audience.
  • Experience with relationship building/management with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Product and Engineering.

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $162,000 per year - $180,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $180,000 per year - $200,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $180,000 per year - $200,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
