Artivest is seeking a talented and motivated Northeast Regional Director for the intermediary sales channel in the Northeast Territory. Our broker-dealer affiliate distributes our products to wirehouses, independent broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, and directly to high-net-worth individuals and family offices.


Responsibilities

  • Effectively articulate the value of our platform as a tool to help advisors be more efficient and scale their businesses by providing access to world-class alternative managers, while eliminating the “hassle” factor by digitizing and streamlining the investment process
  • Allocate resources (product and platform) appropriately to maximize capital raise opportunities and best meet the needs of advisors
  • Raise assets in the Northeast territory intermediary channel by building new relationships and managing those currently in place, with a focus on RIAs and independent broker-dealers
  • Work closely with an internal sales partner to conduct territory analysis and business planning to maximize territory goals
  • Provide education and sales support to financial advisors and their clients
  • Deeply understand a wide range of alternative investment strategies in order to efficiently represent all Open Network managers and to articulate these strategies to a broad range of clients
  • Keep abreast of and attend seminars and conferences in the territory


Requirements

  • Strong commitment to and interest in financial technology
  • Thorough knowledge of alternative investments
  • Established relationships within the RIA and IBD advisor community
  • Reside in or close to Greater New York City Area (expected to travel 4‐5 days per week within the territory)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Series 7 and 63 or 66 FINRA licenses
  • CAIA, CIMA, CFA preferred

Experience

  • 5+ years of verifiable sales success wholesaling alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds and private market products
  • Experience representing and effectively promoting an investment platform
  • Preferred: managed futures and/or hedge-fund experience
