Job description:

You will be one of the first employees of the new US branch office with main responsibility of assisting the Regional Manager by providing support to ensure smooth workflow and help in defining the ways of working in the new office. In this position you will get to grow together with the company and with the US office, and tasks and responsibilities can be updated/checked based on personal skills, interest and motivation. We need a person who is always one step ahead and ready to take initiative. Interest in technology and science is highly appreciated. US citizenship or a valid working permit in the US is a requirement. 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Running the day-to-day operations of the office (phone, email, supplies)
  • Administration e.g. document management, incoming/outgoing mail, finances, payroll and HR
  • Supporting after sales, assisting with marketing and communications
  • Meeting and travel arrangements
  • Interacting with different stakeholders and with other Bluefors offices 

Qualities and skills: 

  • Degree in business, economics (for example BBA)
  • Minimum two years of experience in administration and assisting management in an international business environment
  • Some understanding of daily finances in an office (invoice handling, assisting in bookkeeping)
  • Some understanding of HR and payroll matters, to be able to act as daily contact with PEO
  • Good command of office IT programmes (word, excel, power point)
  • Ability to work proactively and independently while meeting deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and solution seeking attitude
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

Highly appreciated:

  • Previous experience in basic logistics (import/export), in customer or supplier relationships, or in after sales tasks
