Our People team is seeking an Office & Facilities Manager to help us create a positive employee experience across all Noom entities with empathy, resourcefulness, and a service-oriented mindset. The People Operations team acts as the central point of contact for all general inquiries, provides employee assistance and support, develops and maintains HR policies and processes, and provides transactional guidance to our ever-growing population of 3600+ employees across 39 states.

The Officer and Facilities Manager will oversee facilities, Health & Safety and building-related matters for Noom HQ in New York. Our New York Noom HQ is a completely new space. You’ll be the person who keeps everything working! 

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the day to day office operations for 200+ employees at our new HQ in NYC 
    • General repairs & maintenance
    • Emergency action plans in Health and Safety
    • Ensure high-quality cleaning services
    • Manage and monitor office supplies & inventory
    • Fulfill employee requests 
    • Receive mail and packages and distribute to appropriate parties/scan to appropriate parties
    • Make improvements to the office space
    • Host, greet and serve guests
  • Manage relationships with all vendors for the office
    • HVAC, water, pest control, greenery etc
  • Manage relationships with GC & Building Management 
    • Act as the first point of contact for building management 
    • Work with GC and PM for all stages of office build out
  • Space management
    • Manage desk assignments/seating plans
    • Ensure rooms are always ready for use for internal and external guests
    • Are always fully stocked with supplies and whiteboards wiped down
    • Maintain the appearance of common areas
    • Optimize the common areas
  • Support in-office and virtual events
  • Perform other duties and ad-hoc special projects

  • Ability to work in-person at our office in Hudson Yards

  • Ability to oversee changes and improvements to the office
  • Actively responsible - you can respond appropriately to emergency situations or urgent issues 
  • Organized, able to respond to employee queries and requests in relation to office management and maintenance
  • Prior experience in an Office Management or Community Management position (Startup/tech environment – big plus).
  • Experience with office moves and build outs
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Strong organization, communication, and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in G-suite strongly preferred
