Reporting to the People Partner, the Office Manager will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the office and ensuring the organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. In addition, they will manage the virtual logistics of our company while assisting several members of the Executive Team.
What you'll be doing
- Organize and direct daily office operations and procedures to ensure office runs smoothly
- Place company-related orders (including but not limited to supplies, equipment, repairs, etc.)
- Build relationships with our employees to understand and respond to needs of the team, all while, fostering a culture of engagement and inclusivity
- Assist with company event planning and execution
- Complete miscellaneous administrative tasks
- Assist in implementing our return to office procedures, including implementing our COVID safety guidelines and ensuring our team is following all safety protocols
- Once back in the office, serve as the primary point of contact for building management regarding repairs, maintenance and building issues
- Run all emergency preparedness planning and training for NY office-based employees
What we expect from you
- 1-2 years of experience managing an office space or administrative assistant experience
- Experience working with startups preferred
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to multitask
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High energy and a can-do attitude, with the ability to anticipate needs
