What’s this job all about?

Looking for an exciting role on a new and growing team? Want to help ensure every restaurant Partner is set up for success from Day 1? Looking to have a big impact and help shape our Partner journey with Slice? Join the Onboarding Team!

Onboarding Account Managers are responsible for setting every new Partner up for success with Slice. You will support and educate newly launched restaurants during the first 90 days of our Partnership by building a relationship with owners and ensuring they have the information and resources they need to be successful.

What you'll do:

  • Provide an outstanding experience to newly joined restaurant Partners during their first 90 days with Slice.
  • Own and manage a portfolio of restaurants, including retention, as well as upsell of further integration and Marketing opportunities to deepen our partnership and ensure long-term success.
  • Become an expert in Slice’s solutions to provide a consultative Onboarding experience; asking probing questions and handling objections is critical to success in this role.
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Success Managers and Executives to influence and execute strategic initiatives and test programs.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly individual and team growth goals.
  • Coordinate the handoff of accounts from Onboarding to Account Management 90-days after the restaurant is activated on Slice.
  • Provide product feedback and new recommendations based on requests from restaurants.
  • Contribute a positive, solution-oriented attitude to the team. Approach your work with a level of excitement that shines through to your restaurant owners.

What we're looking for:

  • 1+ year experience in client-facing role, especially Customer Support, Sales, Account Management.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone.
  • Desire to grow and improve. Coachable and welcoming of feedback.
  • Willing and able to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to connect and build relationships with restaurant owners over the phone and through email.
  • Self-starter and self-motivator. You can operate without direct instruction after training.
  • Stellar time management skills with the ability to recognize and focus on high priority tasks.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
