The Online Rights Enforcement Monitor will be responsible for various tasks falling under the category of rights enforcementincluding  policing websites, media platforms and mobile applications for copyright, trademark and other rights violations, mostly involving MLB game telecasts; tracking infringements and rights violations; reporting findings; and working with the Manager, Rights Enforcement and other members of the Legal Department on action and response items.

Requirements:

  • Must be a quick study and a self-sufficient, self-starter 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; very strong attention to detail; solid organizational and administrative skills 
  • Strong work ethic; proven ability to multitask and to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment 
  • Adaptability and necessary skills to address the variety of unique issues pertaining to online and interactive media rights monitoring and enforcement activities
  • Internet/interactive media savvy
  • Available to work during MLB games at night and on the weekends, up to 30 hours per week. This is a remote position.
