As the Operations Coordinator, you will be integral in maintaining day-to-day operations at Hive. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the business across various business units including operations, HR, and finance. In this role you'll also have the opportunity to expand upon the existing culture and foster a strong work environment for the Hive team.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain day-to-day office operations ensuring a functioning and well-stocked working environment 
  • Manage relationships and requests with building management, mail, cleaning staff, IT, and all office vendors 
  • Manage on-boarding for new employees including ordering of office equipment, sending onboarding communication, and scheduling welcome activities 
  • Support the finance team in setting up customer subscriptions and collecting outstanding invoices. 
  • Foster a fun, team-focused culture by planning team outings like laser tag or trivia, and organizing office events and celebrations 
  • Serve as the point person for office maintenance, catering, mailing, shopping, supplies equipment, bills, and errands 
  • Oversee office expenses and vendor invoices to ensure timely payment 
  • Manage ad hoc projects as needed to support the leadership team

Key Qualifications 

  • 1-2 years of internship or work experience in an administrative role– preferably at a startup. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a keen eye for details 
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace
