The Role:

A Patient Experience Team Manager is a highly skilled people manager focused on providing a world-class patient experience. They directly manage and motivate a team of 10-15 Patient Experience Specialists who provide our patients with best in class care. Team Managers consistently raise standards by continually providing policy, process, and procedure improvement ideas, backed by data. This position is a full time, salaried position that reports into the Operations Manager role. 



Essential Functions: 

  • Cultivate and enable a community of highly skilled, highly empathetic Patient Experience Specialists/Experts 
  • Directly lead and motivate a team of 10-15 PX Specialists/Experts to achieve department goals 
  • Offer guidance and support to your team through team engagement and enablement 
  • Continually develop your team by holding regular one-on-one meetings offering performance and career development feedback 
  • Continually review your team’s performance through analysis tools, identifying opportunities for improvement or further review 
  • Hold your team accountable for meeting quantitative and qualitative performance metric goals through regular performance reports 
  • Ensure team compliance with all company policies, including but not limited to all PX standard operating procedures, policies outlined in the Employee Handbook, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Create and cascade team performance reports to your team members, Operations Leadership, and other members of the company
  • Develop and execute quarterly department OKRs that have a direct impact on the patient 
  • Own and execute all administrative tasks for your team 

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish a strong point of view and present this POV to internal stakeholders
  • Ability to establish trust and drive accountability 
  • Experience with performance metrics and using these metrics to drive improvements
  • Understanding of how to perform a data analysis
  • Reliable, high-speed internet with a minimum speeds of 10mbps down and 5 mbps up
