Before Meero came along, a photographer would do a one-hour shoot—and then spend four hours at home editing the images. We’ve removed this inefficiency by teaching a computer to distinguish between an image that’s beautiful and one that is not, and then retouching in seconds what a human takes hours to do.
Our machine-learning algorithms allow for faster delivery, high scalability and standardized quality, helping companies meet their goals with inspiring and realistic photographs. Our technology—along with our network of international photographers—is being used in more than 100 countries by notable clients including Airbnb, Just Eat, Expedia, Trivago and Uber.
In just two years, Meero has expanded to 300 employees and continues to grow. In July, we closed a second round of $45 million series B in the purpose of expanding in the US market and building one of the largest AI centers in Paris.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are looking to grow our Production Team in New York! Your role will be to organize and oversee shoots for our clients through interactions with our network of photographers as well as clients throughout North America.
You will therefore be handling photo and video projects from start to finish. Your focus will be to deliver shoots on time with a quality-level aligned with each client’s guidelines and expectations. This will include guiding & training photographers through these shoots, as well as establishing contact with the end clients. Your missions will be very diverse and could range from organizing the filming of whales in Alaska to shooting the hippest Michelin-starred restaurant in Manhattan.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
First experience in photography or video production is necessary (freelance photographer, event planner or producer, photo editing etc);
Exceptional communication, with good listening skills, and very comfortable on the phone;
Extremely organized (you will have to work on multiple projects, on different time zones at the same time). Think of this role as more logistics / event-planning minded than creative;
Another language - besides English is a great plus, (preferably Spanish);
Very comfortable exchanging with clients and photographers;
