We’re conducting a study to investigate the precursors of Alzheimer’s disease. We’re looking to hire an expert in neuropsychological assessments to guide the development of our clinical rating program and to conduct neuropsychological assessment as part of a national Pre-Alzheimer’s study.
Responsibilities include participation in the development of policies and procedures associated with administration of cognitive scales, conducting assessments of study participants in multiple trial sites in New York City, and serving as an internal leader on the administration of a variety of cognitive assessments.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or higher in a Psychology related area unless otherwise specified.
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 2 years of clinical research experience with rater scales
- Experienced clinical rater (BA/BS, MA/MS, RN, PsyD, PhD, MD or equivalent) with practical experience in behavioral/social sciences or related disciplines
- Experience interviewing and assessing patients, including diagnostic skills
- Experience working with behavioral disorders and/or dementias, such as Frontotemporal Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, TBI, or similar
- Able and willing to travel
Plus points
- PhD, MD,BSN or RN with experience in Dementia, Alzheimer's or mental health field. May also be psychologist or social worker
- Experience with 20+ rater scales/administrations in the past 12-24 months.
- Willing to obtain Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) certification and complete training in administration of psychometric assessments
- Experience with scales related to:
