Receptionist

Movable Ink is seeking a highly motivated and organized receptionist to manage the front desk of our newly renovated 8th floor at the New York City headquarters. The receptionist role plays an integral part of all employees and visitors’ experience and is responsible for ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment. This person will work closely with the rest of the global Workplace Experience team whose work aligns culture and company values, and keeps our employees engaged, productive, and safe across multiple office locations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage overall aesthetic, cleanliness, and inventory of the office and pantry by working closely with the office porter
- Support the Workplace Experience team with a focus on key day-to-day operations, such as monitoring our return to office software and maintaining a good relationship with various vendors
- Expense tracking and entry for office and event budgets
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with employees; handle special requests from other teams and guests
- Provide support for internal company events and culture related activities ranging in size and scale
Qualifications:
- 1+ years customer focused or administrative experience
- Professional and positive attitude and demeanor
- Solid written and verbal communication, and active listening skills
- Process and goal-driven with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficient in G-Suite and Mac OS; Excel or Google Sheets a major plus
- Working knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
