Receptionist
Flatiron Health is a healthcare technology and services company focused on accelerating cancer research and improving patient care. Our platform enables cancer researchers and care providers to learn from the experience of every patient. The Provider Customer Support team works to build a positive customer experience for our users and supports their use of Flatiron’s products. This suite of web-based, oncology-focused practice software is used by over 1,600 oncology clinicians every day to diagnose, treat, and manage patients battling cancer. The Customer Support team triages, resolves, trains on, and documents issues in order to help our Provider clients use our products effectively and maximize their value.
Our Office Ops team is the heart of operations at Flatiron Health. We work behind the scenes to keep Flatiron running smoothly and help teams thrive by prioritizing and anticipating their needs. This job requires superior organizational and communication skills. We are looking for someone who is extremely customer service oriented, proactive and can communicate clearly and effectively. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic and a thirst to learn in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors
- Serving as a host & helping guests in finding their way around the office
- Notifying employees when their guest arrives
- Helping maintain workplace security by managing our visitor log, issuing, checking and collecting badges as necessary
- Answering the General Inquiries/Front Desk phone & redirecting messages
- Managing our Lost and Found center
- Assisting with planning and executing company wide events
- Filling shipping requests & tracking important packages
- Booking offsite meeting space
- Calendar room management
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of professional experience
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to think on your feet, change or adapt to any ambiguous situation and make on-the-spot decisions without sacrificing attention to detail
- Experience with Slack & Google Suite preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
- Ability to maintain composure and sense of humor in high-pressure situations
- Mature, logical, strategic, polished, nuanced, quick-learner
