We are looking for a part-time (21 hours weekly) Front Desk Receptionist to make an amazing first impression providing a great guest and employee experience at our Corporate office in New York. 

Responsibilities

  • Greet all external visitors and contact appropriate employee that they have a visitor
  • Maintain all security visitor logs
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and shipments; coordinate all outgoing mail and carrier shipments (US mail, UPS, Fedex)
  • Responsible for ensuring the reception area, conference rooms, and common areas are clean, neat, stocked and organized
  • Order and re-stock office and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Arrange catering needs for staff lunches, meetings and events
  • Scheduling and meeting pre/management
  • Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
  • General administrative and clerical support as needed to support People Team
  • Assist with office activities and events
  • Assist with new employee setups
  • Answer and screen phone calls, directing them to appropriate people, and taking detailed messages

Requirements

  • Be able to work Monday-Wednesday from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily in the office. (21 hours weekly)
  • Must be vaccinated and ok coming to the office three days a week
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Email, Internet, and G-Suite
  • Some experience as a receptions or administrative support experience desired
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to learn and become part of the team
  • Reliable with patience and professionalism
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment (e.g. printers)
  • High school education or equivalent experience required
  • College coursework/degree preferred
