WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking to hire a Regional Director of Global Service who will work in collaboration with our Biz Teams to ensure top notch application support. We seek individuals who get excited to dive into the nuances of the advertising technology market to help us and our clients develop more efficient optimization methods. We want individuals who are motivated by using data-driven solutions to support client efforts to effectively buy advertising through The Trade Desk’s cutting-edge platform. The Global Services Team works closely with the TTD Business and Account Management team to provide application support, business intelligence reporting, data capture and to address complex questions and to identify areas for improvement.

  • Responsible for the successful leadership and management of the regional Global Services organization for North America East according to the strategic direction of the company
  • Develop and execute the company’s business strategies to attain the goals of the company
  • Provide strategic advice to Global Services leadership, so that they will have accurate view of the regional market opportunities and needs
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement of major business objectives
  • Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the region and that they are always followed
  • Communicate and maintain trust relationships with team members, associates, business partners and stakeholders
  • Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of team members - providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
  • Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
  • Provide oversight, guidance and mentorship to members of the Global Services Team
  • Directs Global Services support delivery across assigned regional theater (APAC, EMEA, NAE, or NAW)
  • Provide oversight, guidance and mentorship to members of the Global Service Team
  • Maintain management accountability for Global Services Team KPI achievement
  • Management responsibility for Global Services team member/regional team development and performance
  • Manage Global Services team process improvement initiatives and projects
  • Oversee issue escalation tracking and response management
  • Manage regional and participate in global strategic planning for Global Services
  • Act as a primary conduit/catalyst between the Global Services team and other TTD departments and teams
  • Manage regional screening and hiring of permanent and contract Global Services team members
  • Assess team progress and identify opportunities to improve Global Services team success

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Proven experience as Director or other managerial position(s) with 5 to 8 years relevant work experience
  • Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
  • Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
  • Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university or relevant substitute experience
  • Fluent spoken and written multi-lingual skills to meet regional needs
  • Outstanding leadership abilities with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Mid-level Knowledge of Excel and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets is a plus
  • Mid-level to advanced SQL and HTML experience a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of RTB, DSPs, ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other optimization platforms a plus
  • Possesses effective time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines
  • Can explain complex subjects to a non-technical audience
