What you'll do:

  • Educate and utilize retention strategies to communicate the value of Slice to existing restaurant partners
  • Quantify feedback from partners to understand opportunities for improvement and communicate that to all stakeholders in the organization
  • Leverage feedback to build & strengthen relationships with existing Slice partners
  • Collaborate with the restaurant teams to ensure our partner pizzerias are engaged with Slice and get maximum value from our partnership
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s business model in order to answer all restaurant owner-related inquiries
  • Help train existing Slice employees on objection handling strategies
  • Demonstrate the value of Slice to our restaurant partners every day by providing amazing customer support

Main Objectives:

  • The “Saves Team” comes to the rescue when existing partners may not fully understand the value of Slice and are considering terminating their partnership
  • We’re looking for someone who thrives in an objection-handling environment. If you love to turn a “no” into a “hard yes!” this Retention role is perfect for you!
  • Address, resolve, and record any restaurant owners’ issues that arise pertaining to integration onto the Slice platform, business growth, billing, orders, and general account satisfaction
  • We’re just beginning to build out this crucial team so we want someone who will think critically about our current procedures, contribute in the development of a scalable process and help grow and train the members of the team

What we're looking for:

  • Expert problem-solver who can think on your feet. Failure isn’t an option for you.
  • Demonstrate success with assertive, challenger-based selling
  • Ability to perform and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent track record of hitting your goals
  • Welcomes feedback for continuous self-improvement
  • Passionate about your work and ready for all the ups and downs that come with joining a startup.
  • Excellent listener, assertive, persistent and persuasive
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Have 1+ years of sales, customer support, or account management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
