We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join Vocal’s growing team. The Sales Assistant will execute on our brand engagement strategy to drive growth and achieve brand and platform objectives.
Vocal is a platform for supporting, discovering, and rewarding a new generation of content creators and brands. With 34 (and counting) topic-based community sites powered by Vocal, the network comprises both user-generated stories and branded content via Vocal for Brands. Our team is passionate about bringing storytellers together and building diverse, dynamic communities.
What you’ll do:
Assist the sales team in scheduling sales calls and meeting deadlines for branded content proposal creation
Prepare the sales manager for upcoming sales calls and circulate notes post calls
Manage the sales CRM software with daily updates on calls, sales stages and client communications
Collaborate with the sales manager to monitor active branded content proposals and make sure follow up emails are sent on a specified schedule
Report sales metrics to management on a weekly basis such as number of sales calls, leads, proposals and contracts
Manage and update project management software for each step of the sales process, assigning out deliverables to designated team members and following up on their status

Proactive, self-directed, diligent, and has impeccable attention to detail
A great project manager; highly adept at organizing, prioritizing and planning
Highly aware of what’s trending in the DTC industry and surrounding industries, and how innovative brands are positioning their messaging and overall strategy
Prior experience working with a CRM (Salesforce), Sales Outreach platforms and Project Management Softwares
Proficient in all Google Suite tools including Google Sheets
Team-driven; has a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Flexible to work cross-functionally across various departments
1 - 3 Years of professional work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
