Description
The AMER Salesforce Portfolio Leader oversees all Salesforce product knowledge, capabilities and offerings within the AMER Salesforce practice at EPAM systems. The AMER Salesforce practice is a $60M practice that is the broader $1B Digital Engagement Practice. The Digital Engagement Practice is the fastest growing practice within EPAM and delivering digital transformation for some of the world's most recognizable brands, with offerings across white space business design, brand & marketing, experience transformation, organizational enablement, platform & product strategy, enterprise transformation and Data & AI. With EPAM's recent and significant investments in Salesforce, the practice is expected to undergo rapid growth.
Primary responsibilities include driving the strategic direction of the portfolio team, serving as the primary point of escalation for all team and stakeholder challenges and developing a high performing portfolio team across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Leadership
    • Create and communicate a vision for the portfolio team as well as the EPAM-PolSource leadership team
    • Collaborate with the verticalized portfolio leads, bringing product knowledge and co-creating an updated Salesforce Go To Market that combines industry and product expertise
    • Create a highly capable, high performing portfolio team
    • Manage portfolio Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure that each team member scores a "Meets Expectations" or above
    • Tight coordination, planning and issue resolution with internal stakeholders, including other regions, technical delivery teams, business development, portfolio managers, sales engineering, and practices
    • Ensure that Salesforce Certifications and Credentials are acquired, appropriate enablement is in place, to drive partnership levels
    • Define skill development plans for each team member, nominate and manage specialists and skill sets related to specializations
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations for each team member and ensure performance issues are resolved
    • Plan for team growth and participate in recruiting process to fill open roles
    • Provide technical and strategic leadership to team members
    • Act as a thought leader for portfolio area (ex. develop accelerators, assets, service offerings, sales and marketing collateral)
    • Provide ongoing training and coaching to the team members within the portfolio
    • Create goals, metrics, and related success metrics and communicate against them
  • Salesforce Partnership Collaboration
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders on Salesforce product teams
    • Assist EPAM-PolSource Account Teams to drive business
    • Solidify our positioning as a Salesforce implementation partner for each product area
  • Sales Engineering Participation
    • Act as an advocate for EPAM-PolSource, Salesforce, and EPAM-PolSource clients
    • Provide thought leadership and build executive relationships to "make the difference" on moving deals forward
    • Provide pre-sales solution engineering support as a subject matter expert and executive sponsor
    • Collaborate with pre-sales team to ensure that estimates are continuously updated and accurate
    • Coach team members to provide great solutions and service to EPAM-PolSource clients
  • Project Delivery Leadership
    • Ensure all team members are competent and capable of delivering EPAM-PolSource solutions and services for each product area
    • Develop and maintain best practices and standards for each product area
    • Develop and maintain reusable assets and accelerators, both technical and functional


REQUIREMENTS

  • Required Skills
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce product offerings
    • Strong understanding of enterprise delivery methodologies for large ($5M+) programs
    • PMP, Scrum Master, and related certifications a plus
    • Salesforce certifications a plus but not required
    • Flexibility for changing deadlines, competing priorities, etc
    • Hungry to grow and develop team
    • Meticulous and organized
  • Required Experience
    • Proven track record of leadership - driving change, high performing teams and results in large and rapidly growing organizations
    • 7+ years of experience leading portfolio teams
    • 5+ years of consulting experience
    • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

ADDITIONAL

  • Depending on the position, EPAM employees may need to work at a client worksite or an EPAM office.
