Maven is looking for an experienced ops leader to build out a world-class function to support our marketing, sales, and client success teams in driving lead generation, opportunity conversion, and the launch and growth of new clients. This role will manage the end-to-end tooling for our growth team, drive insights to help inform our company-level strategy, and drive continuous improvement across our operations.
As Sr. Director, Growth Ops, you will lead a team to:
- Manage the informational and operational flows across the revenue funnel of the entire business cycle
- Own and optimize the end-to-end technology stack to support our Growth teams and enable actionable insights
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Client Success leadership to proactively identify and execute on opportunities to continuously improve organizational effectiveness
- Maintain a central set of KPIs to track results and inform how the Growth team operations can improve
- Pull actionable insights from our data and ensure easy access to self-service insights, when and where users need them
- Provide analytical support and leadership to improve strategies, coverage models and sales team configurations to maximize sales effectiveness
- Oversee our deal desk process to review and approve outgoing proposals and drive a cross-functional working team to periodically reevaluate our product pricing
- Ensure the maintenance and continued enhancement of a real-time, accurate sales forecast model
- Create and administer new sales processes needed for contracting, pricing, compliance, reporting or compensation in conjunction with the cross-functional teams at Maven
- Recruit and hire top talent as we build out our growth operations capabilities
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 10+ years of experience overall in GTM functions, ideally mainly in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Business Operations; management consulting experience also considered
- A thorough understanding of traditional B2B sales, demand generation, pipeline management, and forecasting
- Deep understanding and knowledge of Sales and Marketing technologies; experience with Salesforce, Salesloft and Hubspot preferred
- Track record of helping companies manage standardization and process optimization through periods of rapid growth
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize and visualize complex analyses that tell a compelling story
- Direct experience building and leading high-performance teams
