About This Role

The VP of Growth at Talkspace is a key leadership role that will own strategy and execution for all paid marketing channels for our Consumer Marketing business in the rapidly growing and critically important mental health category.  Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this individual will be responsible for developing the full go-to market strategy for the Talkspace business in partnership with the Owned and Earned media teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the teams responsible for strategy, analytics and execution for Paid Media, Lifecycle Marketing and Supply-Side Acquisition for the Talkspace Consumer Marketing business; present strategy and results to the senior leadership management team
  • With Brand Marketing teammates, manage internal creative and media professionals, as well as external agencies and MarTech vendors
  • Optimize LTV and CAC by recommending media allocation, creative executions and CRM initiatives that enhance retention while maximizing efficiency in customer acquisition
  • Lead analytics including daily metrics, KPIs and user insights (via Mixed Media Modeling and other tools) which clarify impact of marketing efforts 
  • In partnership with Marketing, Product and Customer Experience teammates, design and analyze A/B tests on click through rate, conversion rate, landing pages, average order value, and retention
  • Initiate and analyze studies on market size, competitive activity, key brand positioning propositions and consumer behavior
  • With Finance, lead revenue forecasting and budgeting process for the team  

About You

  • 10+ years in the growth or performance oriented marketing team of a direct-to-consumer or e-commerce brand with a proven track record of accelerating revenues
  • Quantitative and technical expertise in marketing tools and best practices
  • Comfort with an entrepreneurial approach to test and learn process
  • Deep experience with best practices in key media channels (Google, Facebook, Audio, TV/OTT, etc.)
  • Excellent management and team-building skills, for direct reports, dotted-line reports and team members throughout the organization
  • Familiarity with P/Ls, budgets, financial targets and the measurement of key financial performance metrics
  • Proven track record of maximizing key KPIs at a direct-to-consumer business: LTV/CAC, ROAS, MRR, Retention, with experience at a subscription business as a plus
  • Experience with HIPAA  and consumer privacy guidelines is strongly preferred
