About the Role
The Senior Director of Strategic Consultancy Partnerships will establish and develop channel relationships with the following partners: Strategic Consultancies, Advisory/Financial, System Integrators (including traditional and payment provider services firms) in North America.
The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running with proven business development and partnerships success in the ‘consultancies’ sector. They will leverage skill sets of business development, channel management, business analysis, relationship building and account management, and be well-versed with the Retail, Payments, and eCommerce ecosystem. This role is focused on creating productive partnerships to help fuel revenue generation.
This role will be US based.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing Strategic Consultancy channel relationships.
- Research, map and create a growth plan that will target new ‘consultancies’ present in Riskified’s target markets and strategic accounts.
- Connect with, develop and manage consultancy partnerships across North America, with additional targeted international outreach.
- Identify new business opportunities, create models for collaboration, negotiate and strive to sign partner agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Marketing, pre-sales, finance to leverage and strengthen brand awareness.
- Collaborate to build a Business Development strategy plan that will deliver market and account growth, of the sales and referral pipeline.
- Manage potential channel conflicts by fostering excellent communication internally and externally and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Hold QBR meetings with partners to review and improve performance and increase customer success.
- Support product and sales training for partners' client-facing teams.
- Track and report key performance metrics to senior leadership.
- The ‘Key Measure of Success’ for this role will be to build a consultancy partnerships portfolio.
Skills/ Qualifications
Riskified’s partnership team is seeking a strong team player with proven experience in the field of Alliances, Partnership and Channel management, bringing a demonstrated ability to manage complex relationships and nurture them to success through win-win engagements. You will be expected to create conversations and build strong relationships with targeted senior executives.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a consultancy and system-integrator partner management or channel business development role - or experience working for a large consultancy/system integration company in either the RetailTech or Payments practices.
- Ability to navigate alliances and channels and grow the portfolio.
- Experience with fraud solutions is a bonus but not required.
- Strategic thinker, with extensive experience navigating large organizations and partner ecosystems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for partner conversations, product presentations and written proposals.
- Detail-oriented and thorough; able to effectively juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time in a highly fluid work environment.
- Must be able to travel up to 25%. This role is US-based and will require domestic and occasional international travel.
