Meeting your future team:

  • The Excellence Enablement team leads program, project and release management throughout the Product & Engineering organization

  • We are looking for an experienced Jira Administrator to manage & coordinate changes in our Jira Cloud instance, in collaboration with our Project, Program and Release Managers. These changes can range from process improvements, managing apps, and setting up reporting.

  • As an experienced Jira Administrator (Subject Matter Expert), we expect you to take an active role within the team to help drive process improvements.

  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand requirements, implement changes, test and document.

  • You will be reporting to the Director of Release Management and Tooling, and collaborating with the Project & Program Managers in Excellence Enablement.

  • One of Collibra’s core values is ‘Embrace and Drive Change’, and this is also one of the core responsibilities of Excellence Enablement.

Jira Administrators at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Collaborate closely with Excellence Enablement members to implement reporting, dashboards, advanced roadmaps, and support Jira hygiene as well as process changes

  • Work together with Product and Operations teams to implement tactical changes and strategic improvements, manage app requests and the staging instance

  • Work together with Project Managers and the Tech Enablement team to document how we use Jira at Collibra, and publish guides (training material) & best practices 

  • Support all teams across the organization that use our Jira instance to manage their work.

  • Assist in gathering requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA/plug-ins setup and workflows, identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests

  • Evaluate and recommend new plug-ins to enhance JIRA functionality for end-users

You Have:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as Jira Administrator in a software development organization 

  • Must have development experience in Scripting with ScriptRunner.

  • Experience in working in a multi-language, multi-time zone environment

  • Communicate fluently in English, written and spoken

  • Experience using report tools is a plus

  • a relationship builder across the organization, and ensure that the right processes, documentation, and insights are in place

  • familiar with working in an agile/scrum environment

  • Open for feedback and willing to learn, but not afraid to take initiative or try a new approach

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will be supporting Excellence Enablement colleagues for ongoing change requests & reporting

  • Within your third month, you will be implementing bigger changes or requests (level 2) in our sandbox environment, and planning the further rollout and communication

  • Within your sixth month, you will be supporting strategic changes in the organization from a Jira/tooling side.
