Meeting your future team:

Reporting to the Head of Equity and Impact, as the Senior Manager, Environmental Social Governance, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Collibra’s Environmental Social Governance (ESG) strategy. This holistic hybrid strategy is both client facing and internal and focuses on Collibra's sustainability, belonging and governance efforts across our business.

As a strategic partner to the business and our teams, you will help to evolve, shape and scale a sustainable, cross-functional, data-informed roadmap aligned to global industry standards and industry reporting metrics. In partnership with key stakeholders, you will identify key ESG opportunities and competitive focus areas. Working to maximize impact, you will design and implement enterprise ESG goals to enable Collibra to realize its ESG ambitions. Working in close partnership with functional teams, you will also help to integrate this strategy into key business areas and Collibra’s brand story.

Senior Managers of Environmental Social Governance at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Strategy Design: ensure a holistic focus on each of the following strategic focus areas: sustainability and environment, belonging and social impact, corporate governance and risk management.
  • Strategy Implementation: develop and scale Collibra’s holistic ESG strategy and roadmap aligning it to industry standards and key reporting requirements.
  • Business Integration: in partnership with key stakeholders, implement and integrate the strategy across key business lines, embedding world-class programs and initiatives within functions across global locations. Partner with strategy and operations to scale and integrate ESG across Collibra’s planning and integration processes.
  • Commercial Solutions: partner with our global product, engineering, marketing and sales teams to identify, develop and co-implement strategic commercial opportunities, advising on competitive advantage.
  • Brand Solutions: partner with our global marketing and people and places teams to identify and integrate ESG opportunities into our company brand story and talent creative. Promote Collibra as the employer of choice for people from a range of backgrounds.
  • Risk Management: partner with our risk and compliance teams to identify ESG related risks and opportunities ensuring to provide sustainable solutions to create business value. Enable Collibra to reduce third party ESG risk.
  • Governance and Reporting: report compliantly in-line with required standards and regulation to Collibra’s range of senior stakeholders, following a streamlined governance model. Enable business leaders to become ESG-reporting fluent as the ESG reporting advisor.
  • Sustainable Finance: enable Collibra to comply with the European Union’s (EU) leadership ambitions within the proposed Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Partner with our finance team to influence capital flow direction towards sustainable activities, achieving data integrity in the process.
  • Research and Advisory: provide data-informed and evidence-based recommendations to the business; ensure that Collibra’s ESG provision is competitive, attractive, sustainable, and compliant.

You Have:

  • Commercial Mindset: skilled in research and development, identifying commercial opportunities, and developing competitive solutions. 
  • Relationship Management skills: building and nurturing relationships with Collibra’s senior leadership team and key stakeholders across our locations.
  • Project and Program Management: managing critical projects and programs using agile methodology, and aligning key stakeholders along the way.
  • Communication: communicate purposefully and intentionally to keep stakeholders informed, raise awareness of ESG opportunities, and promote key trends.
  • Data Analysis skills: comfortable working with large sets of data across a range of data intelligence systems to identify trends and develop data-informed solutions.
  • Leadership: demonstrable inclusive leadership skills and the ability to add value in a high-growth business.
  • Advisory: ability to act as a trusted advisor to colleagues on relevant topics of ESG and ESG reporting, both internal and external.
  • Stakeholder Enablement: ability to guide stakeholders through our ESG evolution. Manage, coach and enable colleagues through collaboration and coaching.

You Are:

  • Experienced in ESG strategy design and delivery: designing, developing, and scaling a competitive and holistic hybrid ESG strategy in a global, high-growth business.
  • Experienced balancing the following strategic focus areas: environment and sustainability, diversity equity inclusion and social impact, corporate governance.
  • An ESG expert with in-depth knowledge of ESG and an ability to build credibility across the business as a strategic partner and thought leader.
  • Experienced leading ESG reporting and regulatory initiatives. Possess strong knowledge of the ESG reporting and regulatory landscape as it relates to technology, particularly with respect to US, EMEA (EU and UK), and APAC regulation and its strategic impact on business. Knowledge of CSRD requirements and scope, and other key external assurance and disclosure practices.
  • Understand the value drivers within ESG, including how to conduct audits, certification processes, materiality assessments, maturity assessments, and regulatory gap/impact assessments.
  • Experienced in developing and implementing ESG risk, governance and reporting enterprise frameworks.
  • Data analysis and measurement: experienced in measuring ESG strategies and initiatives, interpreting trends, identifying opportunities, and translating impact to key stakeholders.

Measuring Success:

  • By Day 30, you will have assessed our current state of ESG affairs and will provide recommendations for immediate wins.
  • By Day 60,  you will have proposed and begun a cadence for regular ESG committee reviews, investments, and taken over the rhythm of the business.
  • By Day 90: you will be working toward your long-term vision, supporting Collibra's ESG pillars, with a concrete roadmap, budget and timelines for the next 12 calendar months.
