Maven is looking for a Provider Recruitment, Senior Manager to lead full cycle recruitment covering Maven’s 30+ medical and wellness specialties nationally. As the vertical lead embedded in the Provider Operations team, this is a unique opportunity to build out the people, process, and tooling required for provider recruitment at scale, in addition to rolling up your sleeves and sourcing candidates. In this role, you will partner closely with operational leadership to understand supply needs, define a strategy and roadmap to achieve recruitment goals, report on key metrics, and evaluate various tools and vendors to power processes. To be successful, you bring a collaborative mindset, strong domain expertise, and a desire to support a growth stage start-up through scale.
As a Provider Recruitment, Senior Manager, you will:
- Define Recruitment Strategy: Work with vertical leads to understand supply needs, efforts to date, and opportunities to further refine provider acquisition strategy based on future growth and population needs
- Own Full Cycle Recruitment: Source and screen provider candidates, clearly articulate Maven’s care model, oversee providers throughout the application cycle, and support final clinical hiring decisions; oversee provider contracting and onboarding
- Evaluate tooling: Define business requirements for key tooling (applicant tracking system, databases, etc.), conduct vendor landscapes, develop business cases, gain leadership buy-in
- Refine Reporting: Work cross-functionally with data and operations team to define key metrics and reporting capabilities to measure success
- Refine Application and / or Onboarding Workflows: Evaluate current practices with an eye for efficiency and scale
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 5+ years of experience in physician and / or provider recruitment in a healthcare delivery or healthcare / telehealth start-up environment
- Demonstrated success utilizing and strong understanding of recruitment best practices
- Strategic and operational skillset, with ability to own end-to-end projects from strategy through implementation
- Team leadership experience
- Strong, clear verbal and written communication
- Resourceful, highly organized self-starter with a bias towards action and efficiency
- Trusted, team player looking to drive success in a fast-paced, start-up environment
