Senior Manager, Sustainability Initiatives
THE ROLE
Peloton is looking for an experienced sustainability professional to support the building and implementation of Peloton’s environmental sustainability strategy. The ESG function sits within Peloton’s broader Strategy, Corporate Development, and M&A team.
Together with the Director, ESG - Environmental Sustainability, the Senior Manager, ESG - Environmental Sustainability will work with functional leads such as product and supply chain to craft and implement sustainability initiatives to meet Peloton’s sustainability goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the continued evolution of Peloton’s sustainability strategy
- Collaborate with partners across Peloton to scope, design, implement and supervise sustainability initiatives
- Develop and manage relationships with functional leads in product, supply chain, and other functions
- Work with leaders across Peloton to set ESG goals and critical metrics in alignment with industry benchmarks and business goals
- Supervise and evaluate the efficiency of ESG initiatives
- Participate in and, in some cases, lead internal working groups
- Support function-led sustainability initiatives with subject matter expertise, research & recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience
- Deep expertise in crafting and implementing environmental sustainability programs
- Experience in circularity programs
- Success leading large-scale initiatives, engaging a variety of partners, and influencing without direct authority
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Comfort with ambiguity; able to make well-considered recommendations and decisions in a rapidly-changing landscape
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Public company experience
- Experience in product, procurement, and/or logistics sustainability
