We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Network and Audio-Visual Administrator to join us in our Englewood Cliffs, NJ Headquarters. This role will be a technical resource reporting to the CIO at OwnBackup to identify and scale our global IT infrastructures and audio-visual systems. We are looking for someone who is just as passionate as we are about our work.

Your Day-to-Day Role

• Maintain and manage core networking infrastructure and appliances (Meraki, UniFi, Ubiquiti)
• Help drive and maintain networking standards and consistency to support global expansion
• Responsible for leading in the design, setup, and support of private and public VPN connectivity for US and global users
• Assist IT Manager with helpdesk support to diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to tech issues for in-house and remote OwnBackup team members
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology and audio-visual hardware and software
• Create and maintain network topology diagrams for both core IT and audio-visual network globally
• Document and maintain technology processes, approvals, and procedures
• Manage and support the company video conferencing technology
• Manage and support video distribution for signage, media presentation, and live broadcast events
• Manage and set up networking and audio-visual equipment to include rack and stack when needed
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and networks
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust shifting priorities as they change
• Lead, manage and support live production studio networking and broadcast equipment
• Evaluate new technologies with a contribution toward driving business value case

Your Work Experience

•  4+ years of experience as a Network Administrator
•  4+ years of experience supporting audio visual and broadcast equipment at scale.
• Possess working knowledge of Blackmagic video production technology in a live broadcast virtual environment setting
• Cybersecurity Experience including network firewalls, Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, firewall configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Previous support of an organization with global offices predominately running an apple and multi-cloud environment (Salesforce, AWS, Azure)
• Working knowledge of Crestron automation and HDMI video matrix distribution.
• Experience working with vendors and managing/enforcing SLA’s
• Must be proficient in computer hardware and software systems, network systems, and computer anti-virus & security programs
• Networking experience with understanding of routers, VLANs, NAT, VPN and DNS
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Customer service pro who is excited to dig into any issue, big or small
• Proactively address problems and issues
• At ease with ambiguity
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience supporting new office buildout (a plus)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our New Jersey office to maximize interaction with the business.
