WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Trade Desk is seeking a Senior Office Manager to join our office in New York, NY. This position will lead a team responsible for all aspects of office operations across several sites within the portfolio, including our New York location. This position will be a strong Cultural Ambassador for the business/office and will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and managing day-to-day office operations to ensure organizational effectiveness, increase efficiency, and provide a “best in class” workplace experience. The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills to enhance and deliver services consistently across various functions and geographies. This person will work to build trust and be able to influence at all levels across the organization while driving consensus and decision making in challenging situations. 

As a leader on the Global Office and Facility Operations team, this person will contribute to the long-term vision and strategy of the company’s workplace experience. This person will help identify areas of opportunity that enable our team to anticipate future business needs and continue to provide a world-class workplace experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Effectively lead and manage a team of office management and facilities professionals. Provide regular guidance and development feedback to help create a high performing team with a culture of inclusion, trust, and respect.
  • Build strong relationships and influence through timely, relevant, and targeted communication that balances the needs of the business with the services we can provide
  • Oversee regional office operations, provide direction and support to office staff, and create a culture focused on providing the best overall employee and guest experience
  • Create, implement, and manage operational objectives and processes throughout the region
  • Bring innovation to our services and how we approach supporting the business to ensure we leverage industry leading practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues towards common goals and share best practices
  • Navigate ambiguity in an ever-changing environment with shifting priorities, prioritize and adapt to the business's changing needs
  • Manage vendor partner relationships, lead contract negotiations, and measure vendor performance
  • Develop budget guidelines and ensure they are applied and followed consistently
  • Manage office space planning, coordinate changes, and keep internal systems updated. Lead activities related to new office moves and expansions
  • In collaboration with various internal groups (HR, IT, Real Estate, etc), create, coordinate, and deliver global programs such as: new hire onboarding, reception, snacks/beverages/food, special events, office supplies, corporate credit card, building maintenance, security, mail and shipping, and travel
  • Work with building management & maintenance to ensure office safety and communicate information to staff
  • Partner with People Operations department to maintain office policies
  • Manage special projects or tasks as assigned or required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Ability to offer creative and innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced office environment while displaying excellent communication skills
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence at all levels
  • Genuine interest in providing outstanding customer service
  • Previous experience managing office operations
  • Experience collaborating with other business groups
  • Industry certifications or interest in engaging in industry networks and events
  • Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Upbeat, positive attitude with an attention to detail
