About the Role

The Senior Scientific Manager role will report directly to the Scientific Director, Serious Mental Illness (SMI). This role will contribute directly to the development, digitization and optimization of mechanisms of action (MOAs) for Click Therapeutics schizophrenia and other SMI products. The science team at Click is engine that fuels the development of new therapeutic concepts through rigorous evaluation and creative ideation. As a Senior Scientific Manager, you will:

Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with scientific literature to identify novel mechanisms of action for development and evaluation
• Work with the broader science team members to translate the latest scientific findings into prototypes that can be evaluated in small, early-stage studies
• Design and conduct exploratory research projects to optimize cognitive and behavioral interventions and related product features
• Work with Product and Design team members to translate cognitive and behavioral interventions into digital format on Click Therapeutics’ proprietary platform Translate
• Conduct data analyses and publish findings in top-tier peer-reviewed journals
• Present results at conferences and seminars
• Assist with grant applications, progress reports, and IRB applications
• Assist in the training of junior team members including research coordinators and interns
• Analyze data collected from past and ongoing projects and share findings with the broader science team

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Psychology or Neuroscience (Cognitive, Behavioral or Affective focus) or related discipline
• Previous research or clinical experience working with people with SMI
• Strong understanding of the current scientific literature related to SMI
• Tech savvy with confidence in the transformative potential of software as treatments
• Experience executing translational cognitive and behavioral research
• Record of scientific publication and presentation

Preferred Qualification

• Experience providing evidence-based treatments to people with SMI
• At least 2 years of post-doctoral experience
• Experience building, optimizing, or evaluating digital health interventions
• Experience designing clinical trials
• Experience writing grant applications for early-stage research
