What You Will Do:

  • Support CLEAR’s Physical Security and Insider Threat team in the design and deployment of a fully operational insider threat program consisting of the prevention, active monitoring, and resolution of internal security threats   
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to enhance insider threat focus areas to include on-boarding and off-boarding protocols in addition to employee training and awareness programs
  • Develop, refine, and calibrate technical capabilities and tools to provide actionable intelligence and drive the investigation of identified anomalies and security incidents
  • Perform specialized review procedures of incoming threat information and design risk evaluation mechanisms to determine if further investigative action is required to mitigate or elevate incidents
  • Monitor incoming intelligence and alerts to evaluate and identify potential vulnerabilities from internal and external threat actors
  • Assist in the design and management of the enterprise-wide data classification and data loss prevention programs to avert the theft, leakage, or damage of CLEAR’s most sensitive data  
  • Prepare and present formal and informal analysis and briefings regarding ongoing and emerging threats to relevant stakeholders and executives 
  • Conduct investigations of internal cyber security events or crimes and assist in the collection, processing, preservation, and analysis of digital evidence
  • Coordinate with various internal stakeholders such as Legal, Privacy, and the People Team to ensure confidentiality and discreet resolution of investigations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate law enforcement and intelligence organizations, in addition to private sector contacts
  • Solve complex problems related to insider threat procedures, incident response, and investigations to include technology issues, legal requirements, privacy regulations, and best practices

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of insider threat analysis experience in a corporate or government environment
  • Knowledge of insider threat vectors and attack methods
  • Conversant with system and application security risks, threats and vulnerabilities
  • Familiar with network security architecture concepts: including topology, protocols, components, and principles 
  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools, SIEMs, and experience in network traffic and analysis
  • Experience running security investigations including gathering evidence/artifacts, system forensics, reviewing threat intelligence tools, reviewing log files and incident report writing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both a technical & non-technical environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, detail orientation, follow-through capabilities and escalation of key issues
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple issues at one time
  • Ability to independently organize, prioritize and follow-up on tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Can work effectively in a dynamic environment where shifting priorities frequently alter work plans
