RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage 24x7 - Distributed Team Engagement Models
• Track Engineers 'On-Call' Support for weekends (Rotation Plans)
• Provide guidance from NFRs perspective: security, testing
• Provide Kafka & Confluent as a managed service
• Monitor system's health via monitoring tools
• Management of incoming incidents

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years minimum experience managing the delivery of data-focused DevOps as services
• Knowledge Kafka & Confluent from end user and administrative perspective
• Google Anthos experience
• Provide guidance from NFRs perspective: security, testing, etc
• Experience in Elasticsearch stack including Elastic Observability, ELK, PagerDuty, Uptrends
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes / AWS / GCP
• Experience planning and working in shifts and be available on call to support a 24x7 operations model
