Position Summary

The Special Orders Assistant will resolve top tier client requests made through the Stylist team. This role is responsible for pro-active collaboration with cross-functional partners, and vendors, to close out requests that drive sales for the TrunkShow and custom business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Liaison effectively and expediently with all internal and external partners required to close special order requests and drive sales
  • Facilitate all Special Order communications, operations, and processes at a luxury experience level.
  • Partner with Stylists to understand and prioritize the Special Order business
  • Manage the entire process for stylist requests, from inquiry through the sale
  • Communicate with Merchant team and/or vendors for product information required
  • Understand and follow-up on competitive pricing for merchandise requests
  • Gather and execute all information for import sheets, product descriptions, and purchase orders for Stylist Requests
  • Escalate Special Order issues to Senior Client Experience Manager and Merchandising as needed
  • Partner with Marketing team to recap, filter, and analyze merchandise request, to determine where the volume exists—by vendor, Stylist, region, and customer tier categories
  • Import stylist POs and assist in assortment creation
  • Manage the education of new brands to the stylist team
  • Schedule training and showroom clinics as needed
  • Run weekly selling reports and TS results reports

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in fashion or merchandising
  • Must be detailed oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to ever-changing, fast-paced, and high-growth environment
  • Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills and reasoning ability
  • Able to work within a team and with all cross-functional partners
  • Proficient in Excel and Photoshop with an aptitude for learning new programs
  • Willing to execute priorities with a sense of urgency, working nights and/or weekends at peak times
