HUMAN was founded in 2012 in a Brooklyn sci-fi bookstore by Tamer Hassan, Michael Tiffany, Dan Kaminsky, and Ash Kalb. We're looking for a tech-savvy, innovative and people-forward Head of IT to lead our company's technological initiatives and ensure our technology is aligned with our mission to protect the world from bots. As the Head of IT, you'll be responsible for driving the development and implementation of technology strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.

In this role, you will be working with a team of talented engineers, and you must be familiar with common SAAS apps such as GSUITE, Okta, Slack, etc. You should be comfortable with both the technical and business aspects of information technology and have a strong track record of delivering results. What you'll do:

• Led the development and implementation of the company's technology strategy.
• Oversee the company's technology infrastructure and ensure it meets its needs.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT team, ensuring that they provide effective and efficient support to the company.
• Work with stakeholders to identify technology needs and provide solutions to support the company's goals and objectives.
• Ensure that the company's technology and data security practices meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the company's technology budget and ensure that technology investments align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the SAAS industry and evaluate their potential impact on the company.
• Manage the IT budget, contract and suppliers
• Work with security to ensure a secure IT infrastructure 

Who you are:

• Leadership with empathy, someone who can balance business needs while fostering a fun and engaging work environment.
• Experience leading a SAAS company's IT department
• Deep expertise with security on cloud-based enterprise IT applications like IAM
• You have a track record of stepping up and leading successful complex IT projects, including rolling out new IT platforms
• Experience with compliance and audit.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
